The Club has been invited to a 4th of July Celebration. The event will be at Bear Lake, just a short distance northwest of Wichita. Don’t look for it on a map it is a private lake. They will start cooking for this Saturday and will start serving around 6pm Sunday the 4th. You are requested to bring a side dish to share. The fireworks are commercial fireworks and there will be lots of them. He told me how many, I don’t remember the exact amount but it is A LOT.
We will be cruising together or you can drive up later on your own. The meeting place will be Zac’s Car Wash at 21st and 119th St West. Cruise time is yet to be set, because there will be a lot to do. Fishing, jet ski’s, boat rides for the kids and much more. They will have parking all set up for us, Probably next to the Corvette’s, yes one of the Corvette Clubs will be there. LOL. Can’t let them have more Vette’s than Mustangs there can we.
Keep watching the calendar, forum and the Weekly Club Update for more information as it becomes available.

MH really stepped up to help us with our show for our charity with $400 cash plus prizes, and of course the cars.
It is only right that we support theirs. All you have to do is bring your cars out to Mels and enjoy the food and activities.
We will meet at the Farmers & Mercants Bank at 119th and K42 hwy to leave by 5:30 to cruise up 119th to Mels. If you can’t make the cruise just come on up to Mels the event starts at 6 and goes until 8, probably a little later for the fireworks. You are welcome to come at anytime during the event.
We need all the club cars we can get to be there.
See you there,
JB
