1. 4th Annual Reedy Ford Cruise

    July 1, 2010 by oleyeller

Just went to the web page calendar and realized I haven’t posted anything on the Annual Reedy Ford Cruise.

This year we will be taking a little different route to get to Dexter and the O’Henry Candie Factory, I think everyone enjoyed that pit stop. The last part of the cruise will be the same except we will all be traveling in one group and this year we will be able to take the bypass and go through the Round-About. NO FAST AND FURIOUS GROUP. But I will make sure it is a fun drive.

Event: 4th Annual Reedy Ford Cruise.

Departure Time: 8:00am from the Lowe’s at K15 and 63rd street south.

Reedy Ford Event 11:30am to 3:00pm.

Lunch will be provided by Reedy Ford.

  2. Celebrate the 4th with BBQ and Fireworks

    June 19, 2010 by oleyeller

The Club has been invited to a 4th of July Celebration. The event will be at Bear Lake, just a short distance northwest of Wichita. Don’t look for it on a map it is a private lake. They will start cooking for this Saturday and will start serving around 6pm Sunday the 4th. You are requested to bring a side dish to share. The fireworks are commercial fireworks and there will be lots of them. He told me how many, I don’t remember the exact amount but it is A LOT.

We will be cruising together or you can drive up later on your own. The meeting place will be Zac’s Car Wash at 21st and 119th St West. Cruise time is yet to be set, because there will be a lot to do. Fishing, jet ski’s, boat rides for the kids and much more. They will have parking all set up for us, Probably next to the Corvette’s, yes one of the Corvette Clubs will be there. LOL. Can’t let them have more Vette’s than Mustangs there can we.

Keep watching the calendar, forum and the Weekly Club Update for more information as it becomes available.

  14. Club Meeting At Jeff & Vicki’s (Afton Location Canceled)

    by oleyeller

I know right after we canceled Afton they announced they were still going on with the event. We think they are crazy with that next system moving in, it is already pretty wet out there according to Steve, and this one still as plenty of RAIN in it.

Lunch will be at Jeff and Vicki’s at 1:00. and the club meeting afterwards. Mark is getting the meat ready, Jeff and Vicki are getting their place ready. Steve is bringing the canopies and the stuff that was left from our show along with what others have.

So as far as the lunch out at Afton plans go, we are just changing the location and we will start at 1:00. Hopefully the weather will have passed us by and we can have a little clear weather. Bring your side dish and/or desert and your chairs. We still can have a good time today with friends.

Check your email or call one of us for directions.

  25. Sturgis Planning Meeting

    March 9, 2010 by oleyeller

    From Linda:
As I mentioned earlier, I wanted to have a meeting for all of us that are going to Sturgis in September. The pre-registration deadline is fast approaching, and there are things we need to discuss before then. Such as where we are staying first and last night of the trip, plus activities we might attend. Also, I would like to hear suggestions about a route up and possibly a different one coming back. I would like to meet on Sunday March 14th, 3:00 pm at Brahms on 21st N and Ridge Rd. They have a large area in the back for a group and at that time they shouldn’t be very busy. If there’s to many that can’t attend on that date, then I may be able to change it, so please RSVP me. For those that live to far to come, you can email me your thoughts. So come out and share ideas and some ICE CREAM!!!
